Suar wood is a dense, fast-growing tropical hardwood native to South America but widely cultivated in Southeast Asia (particularly Indonesia) . Also known as rain tree wood , monkeypod , or South American walnut , it is highly prized for its durability and striking, two-tone natural aesthetic. Also highly sustainable.

A lot of the furniture in this category has been hand-made in Bali using mostly upcycled teak wood from retired fishing boats. The wood retains some of the original colours and rustic finish and will be a perfect addition to any home decor. The natural finish highlights the rich details and colouring of the wood.
